ENTRY / SKY OPEN 8B DOUBLES
This is your entry into the SKY OPEN 8B DOUBLES event, live from Startup Event Center in Sultan, WA. The field will be 64 pairs in single elimination. Equipment is Diamond Pro-Am 7’ (14 tables). Rules are BCAPL 8Ball.
The format is scotch doubles, with no gender requirement for pairs. Fargo range is 750-1100 total Fargo (tF). Races will be Fairmatch weighted. “Weight” is given according to cumulative Fargo ratings. Race to 7 rounds 1-2 (max. 13 racks). Race to 9 from “Sweet 16” rounds (max. 17 racks). Race to 11 in the Finals (max. 21 racks). Scoresheet follows a round robin format, with a mix of singles and doubles.
Fairmatch Races (by total Fargo, tF)
1050-1100 (total Fargo) must win 7 racks in rounds 1-2, 9 from “Sweet 16,” 11 Finals
900-1049 (tF) must win 6 racks in rounds 1-2, 8 from “Sweet 16,” 10 Finals
750-899 (tF) must win 5 racks in rounds 1-2, 7 from “Sweet 16,” 9 Finals
Example: 1050 and 750 pairings race to 7-5 rounds 1-2 then 9-7 from “Sweet 16” then 11-9 Finals.
